The purpose of my dissertation to help inform best practices for providing cross-cultural supervision and training with Asian American supervisees. Further, my study aims to also identity how projected career trajectory has been impacted by acts of racism in clinical supervision.

My name is Kevin Yabes and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Counseling Psychology program at New Mexico State University. I am researching the training experiences of Asian American supervisees navigating racism in clinical supervision for my dissertation. This study was approved by the New Mexico State University IRB (Protocol #2207006417). I am currently recruiting potential participants. If selected for the study, participants will be compensated with a $30 VISA gift card or $30 donation to a cause of their choice for their time and participation.
